Salary: The proposed salary range for this position is $51,281 to $67,947. The salary negotiated at the time of offer will be commensurate with education and experience while also considering internal equity.

As an integral part of the leadership of the Division of Student Affairs, the Director of Student Organizations and Campus Programming oversees major campus programming, ~550 student organizations, and Student Senate. The director cultivates respectful, effective relationships amongst the Center for Student Engagement & Leadership (CSEL) staff and campus partners and is responsible for assessment of CSEL’s impact on student success. Primary focus areas of this position are:

  • Leading the success of and budgets for: Student Organizations, Student Organization Finance, and Student Programming
  • Student Organization Leadership Coaching and Student Senate Advising;
  • Organizing the Division of Student Affairs’ role in campus-wide programming
  • Coordinating large university events to support student engagement including Homecoming and Welcome Week
  • Supervising staff, GA’s, and student employees
  • Working directly with a variety of campus partners to develop policies and protocols addressing risk management, travel, etc. for all registered student organizations

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5 or more years of related professional experience, and 3 or more years of supervisory experience, or equivalent education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree
